The Grape Variety is a neighbourhood, independent wine bar, shop and restaurant, selling great wines and food from around the world, located just 2 minutes from Chipstead Railway Station.We opened in the spring of 2018 with the aim that a wine bar should cater not just to experts, but to all, so we created one where our guests could unwind at the end of the day with a great wine in a warm, friendly and genuine environment, whilst getting sound advice about which wines to enjoy, as well as to take away.For food, we offer quality artisan cheese and charcuterie, alongside dishes such as baked Camembert, bakery sausage rolls, hot chorizo and potato, hummus with a spicy sauce, Spanish pâté and the like. On Thursdays, enjoy our wood fired pizza pop-up and our legendary Quirky Quiz runs every other Wednesday.     Loved everything about it, delicious food, great cocktails and small enough to not be overwhelmed by noise or music.would highly recommend.

    We pre booked. Great venue with clean spacious attractive ambiance. Friendly and made us very welcome. Wheelchair friendly and inclusive environment. Nothing too much trouble attitude very helpful covering service and busy bar. Amazing how they did it, there was a wait. So go to relax and enjoy your meal out don’t go when you have a tight schedule. If they want to make improvements this is an area to look at at an extra member of staff, it’s a very large venue and when full as it did get over the lunch time it must have been very stressful for those two staff members. Our Buddha bowl meals were delicious too. Starters not as good as the deserts they were fabulous. We had a great time and I would definitely go back again.
