A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

Centro 86 is an extraordinary margarita bar. Extra-selected tequila, extra-special margaritas, extra-delicious popcorn. Like peering through a psychedelic periscope and drinking in an alternate reality, Centro 86 transforms the basement of 86-88 Pitt St into a monument to margaritas and a temple of tequila. Inspired by the classic cantinas of Mexico the bar pushes the perception of what a margarita can be.The 100 strong tequila selection is fuelled by trips to the source in Mexico and includes agave spirits from around the world. We’ve pushed our connections to get our hands on some truly special, rare bottles. Layered Latin cantina classic drinks, filtered through the infamous MUCHO lens, shaped by Cantina OK! and Bar Planet. Precise, fresh fruit-driven, fun and chaotic. Ice-cold glasses, hand pressed lime juice, ice shaved-to-order, and a thoughtful use of the modern Sydney pantry. Our menu is designed to feel familiar and fresh at the same time. We are waiting for you inside.

It’s about comfort, generosity, and cosiness. At Margaret, we work with the best quality produce that Australia has to offer. Chef Neil Perry AM has spent years developing relationships with some of the best suppliers in the country. We are predominantly a seafood restaurant and are very fortunate to receive our seafood direct from our fishermen, caught sustainably and dry filleted here onsite at Margaret, so we can ensure that all that love and care our wonderful fisherman have taken is seen all the way through. Great and very helpful staff, they sadly had to sit us on the bar, but it wasn't so bad. The drinks are heavily over priced and I would just recommend to not bother, go somewhere else for drinks in the area there are better places much cheaper to get a good cocktail. The Orange chicken was by far the best dish, which is a shame for a Bao Bun place when you think about it. The Bao Buns were ok...not great, like Ipuddo makes better ones if you really want to try some. The chicken was dry, the meat was stringy, the pork belly one i didn't even bother eating because it looked bland, and there was no real crackling on it. In the end I recommend you get their burgers and the Orange Chicken as they're far more enjoyable than the buns. Shame really. TL;DR - Drinks cost too much (common problem, not exclusive to this place) - Staff are amazing - The buns are average - Everything else on the menu is better than the buns (the irony) - Ambience is really nice too!

Good food in the British style. However, if you are used to British curry houses, you'd expect the usual 4 dips to come with the papadums. Here they only provide mint sauce. Great value if you have a Citi credit card as get a free bottle of wine.
