The structure is traditional but the Decor is very, very modern. Purple walls with orange borders and the Submarine grey fire place in the games room with astro-turf may give you a heavy indication that at this venues core, it's a Sports Bar but you'd be wrong. The Menu matches the ambiance of the Friary perfectly, everything you'll need for a visit here. It still has some of the original features such as the timber framed walls and ceiling in the snugg.The Bulls Head is a traditional pub with a modern, welcoming and vibrant feel coupled with a great atmosphere, great-value food and drink and the best customer service in the town. Sometimes you get what you pay for, yes price a little higher than your average restaurant but the quality of the food and service is excellent. If your looking for something a bit different and a real treat I can highly recommend giving this a try, we had the 3 course menu and every plate was delicious from start to finish, will definitely be returning 5*****.

I needed somewhere that a whole gang of family could meet from different parts of the country for a walk and lunch - I had never been to Boardwalk before but very glad i chose them. They were great when I had to add a couple of extra people at a later time and then on the actual day the whole meal was great from start to finish. Everybody was impressed with the food and the good service and easy ambiance made for a really enjoyable Sunday lunch. Everyone also commented what good value the food was too. Thank you to all
