Grow is hidden haven in Hackney Wick with a heated and covered terrace next to the River Lea. The menu is inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability. Our menu is primarily plant-led but we also offer ethically sourced meat options. We had a lovely meal - tasty , unusual and good value. We chose two Afghani dishes , Chicken in yoghurt and lentil dahl and a shepherds salad. They were all flavoursome , gently spices and cooked to perfection. The ingredients especially of the Shepherds salad were fresh and delicious. They have a good mix of meat and veggie dishes We had a beer and a some glasses of wine all of which were great. We went on a week night, before a gig at EartH next door and service was prompt and helpful even with a full restaurant. The ambiance is warm and friendly - a real oasis on a busy High st. I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to the Zer Middle Eastern Kitchen.

Excellent space to relax, talk and listen to good music. Was surprised at how spacious and well spread out the venue is. A great little find, in a romantic, quirky setting

Always love Yaz for family dinners, lovely food, staff and decor. Great local for special occasions or just breakfasts.
