Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Dear Richmond,This little restaurant is pour love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season. For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'. One of our very favourite places to enjoy some wonderful Italian food and soak up the fantastic atmosphere. Stunning food, wonderful home made pasta dishes, fantastic wine - a wonderful gem of a restaurant. It is our quick visit to Italy, I close my eyes, taste the pasta and I am back in Italy. Great to always visit the "sidebar" where Adults can have a nice drink . Sad that Aiden is heading back to the UK for family reasons big shoes to fill. I love how we can extra drink and catch the bus home ! So drink the Taxi Fare great outcome. We just asked Aidan to bring us wine by the glass within parameters. Six different wines by the glass none of which we were aware but really enjoyed all of them.
