We are located in the historic Lalime's space in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley, CA.Our intentions with three.one four was to create a dining experience that is so captivating, it transcends all others. Our menu features small bites, salads, and World Class rustic pies from acclaimed Chef Mario Vollera. We utilize high quality Italian cheeses and fresh local products in our food and our menu is partnered with a carefully curated wine list featuring an extensive by the glass offering. At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The attention to detail are evident in not only the food they make but also the ambience they have created. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls. An elegant chandelier hangs over a natural wood backed booth providing both a cozy and elegant feel to the room. Outside on the spacious patio, a magnificent redwood tree provides natural shade to the built in seating area and plants are abundant creating a lush, garden setting. Live music Brunches, New York style Pizza, unique Entrees and our famous Sicilian Lemon Almond Pistachio Cake are just a taste of what you will find at Babette. Il est « festif et animé... la vera cucina italiana ». L'Ideale apporte une ambiance de Rome à North Beach depuis plus de 20 ans, avec son très célèbre chef Maurizio Bruschi. Maurizio est issu de quatre générations de chefs romains et a été formé avec amour par sa grand-mère, la Nonna Serafina. Tous les jours, vous savourerez des pâtes, des pains et une cuisine maison. Le menu du Palio qui comprend des sans gluten est un véritable voyage culinaire en Italie qui met l'accent sur la cuisine de différentes régions et qui changent au fil des saisons. Ils utilisent des produits biologiques provenant de petites exploitations locales, ainsi que de l'agriculture durable et de l'aquaculture. Very friendly staff! Came before a Warriors game for a quick drink at the bar and then after the game for some pizza and Caeser salad. Both were very yummy. We chose to eat “outdoors” which was nice because of the views. They have a lot of heaters above which helps a lot. Place was lively and the view of the bay and arena was spectacular.

I lived in Italy for a year and three.one four’s pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The salad was amazing as well. Full bar/craft cocktails, great wine selection, and an incredible dessert menu. We’re already looking forward to returning to try some of their pastas and salads. We forgot that we were there during happy hour and were surprised at how reasonable our check was for such a memorable dining experience.

A beautiful neighborhood restaurant. Crowded holiday evening but the staff is warm and friendly and we were treated like family. My go to restaurant for delicious food in a sweet and comfortable environment.

We had a choice to sit outside or inside - I think either would have been lovely but we chose outside and sat around the fire table - between the fire table, heat lamp and cozy blankets, the temperature was perfect even on a somewhat chilly night and you could not beat the wonderful atmosphere. It was our first time here but will not be the last.
