La cuisine cambodgienne est superbe et délicieuse, mais encore méconnue aux États-Unis. Moins piquante et sucrée que la thaïlandaise, plus riche et complexe que la vietnamienne, les pâtes d'épices délicates qui sont à la base de nombreux plats cambodgiens reflètent l'ascendance indienne du Cambodge (mais utilisent des épices fraîches plutôt que des épices séchées).
