Established in 1939, Peter's Clam Bar & Seafood Restaurant is one of Long Island’s oldest Clam bars. Nestled on the waters of Barnum Inlet, Peter's began serving as a beacon for fresh seafood to friends & family alike. Since then, you, our family of patrons has grown & so has our menu offerings. Still to this day, our diligent efforts of finding the finest & freshest seafood has kept us as one of the leading clam bar & seafood restaurants on Long Island

    Food and services was great. I loved their Lobster mac and cheese, the fried calamari, and I always order the broiled seafood place. Their New England Clam chowder is excellent as is their lobster rolls. Atmosphere is a pretty nautical overlooking the bay.

    Solid seafood meal at Peter's. We usually eat in the casual, self-serve side of the restaurant and hadn't been at the full-serve restaurant in years. Three in the group ate broiled fish, one ate flounder oreganato. Two had soup, two shared fried calamari. Food was very good. Key lime pie for dessert was just okay.

    The seafood was very fresh, they give you good size portions. The food was overall delicious, we will definitely return.

    Not worth the money and it’s too expensive for the quality or lack thereof. Food was just not good. Wine was cheap. Service was ok.

    I thought this place would have great fresh seafood but I was so wrong! Only thing that was good was the lobster bisque. We ordered calamari for the table and it tasted stale. I ordered the surf and turf , I asked for a medium steak and my steak was burnt. None of us enjoyed our food and it was very disappointing.

    first time ever going to peter’s clam bar and i have to say i loved it! very nice staff, great food, very nice restaurant!!
