While walking in the place was absolutely beautiful. We were very excited. We had a party of four and celebrating my husband‘s 60th birthday. We sat down and it took a while for our waiter to come and introduce themselves. He seem to have some regulars and concentrated more on them, I did not eat nearly a quarter of my meal and was never really asked if I enjoyed it. It was not good. The four of us were very unhappy and two of us were happy. The one thing about it was the pianist that they have played happy birthday for my husband, they delivered his dessert we paid for that would’ve been nice to have that, but it’s Peter shield and I guess the reputation speaks for itself

Peter (our waiter) was terrific. He came over anytime any of our wine or water glasses were empty and filled them. He constantly kept asking how the food was. Which was terrific btw. The lobster fra diavlo is excellent. The presentation is top notch and the taste is even better. I love coming here every year when we come down. It’s worth every penny spent!

The $69 Filet Mignon my husband had wasn't as tender as it should have been. Considering the price one would expect it to be a prime piece of meat. I had the braised short rib and found that the espresso barbecue sauce did not complement the short rib. Maybe we just picked the wrong menu choices!

Had a wonderful dinner here! Beautiful location and space with lots of sunlight, and the food was delicious. The standout meal was the dessert - Croissant Bred Pudding. One of the best desserts I’ve EVER had! Would absolutely recommend for an upscale, delicious meal.

We had a wonderful experience, our waiter was very attentive. From appetizers to dessert the food was delicious. We have eaten here at Peter Shields many times and always have had a wonderful time. After dinner we sat on the porch to enjoy the evening and listen to more music from the piano man.

The setting and music was wonderful, but we were disappointed with the service and food. We let them know in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary. After being sat at our table, the waiter told us the table (against a wall) was rejected by another couple who were now seated at the windows. They gave away our table to them. The food came out very quickly. The lobster was overcooked and the salad was a head of lettuce quartered. Overall disappointed with our experience, especially since it was highly recommended and pricey. Not the anniversary dining experience we were hoping for.
