In the heart of rural Northumberland in the village of Chatton you'll find The Percy Arms; an ideal place to visit, dine or stay in luxury. Take a drive Northbound on the A1 from Morpeth (a mere 36 miles), follow the signs for Chillingham Castle and you'll descend on the peace and tranquillity of Chatton. On your drive there, you'll witness the spectacle of the Cheviot Hills, the varied hues of the grasses and heaths and appreciate the true splendour of our county.
The Percy Arms is the ideal place to visit or stay for those looking for a relaxing break in informal but luxurious surroundings in the Northumberland countryside. The Percy Arms is in close proximity to some fantastic places including the spectacular Northumberland coastline, National Park, fine Castles and country houses, splendid churches and delightful towns and villages. We are dog friendly in our bar area if you wish to dine with your beloved dog.

Adults £95 and children £55. We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid by the 1st December along with your pre-order.                                             Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. I'm not sure any one needs 9 vegetables on a Sunday lunch. My beef was fine but my partner's was rather stringy and difficult to cut.

                                            We really enjoyed the Tapas Night at the Percy - the food was delicious and generous, prompt but not rushed, and the service was excellent. Well recommended.

                                            Don’t know what has happened to the steak pie but it was a pale imitation of what it used to be! Not a lot of meat and just not very good - very disappointing. Mash and veggies were lovely.

                                            We went on Bank Holiday evening and were told that they were short staffed in the kitchen which explained delays. My crab and prawn starter had a minimal amount of crab and my Bistro Rump Steak had the texture of having been partially cooked beforehand. My wife's choices were better. The waiting staff were pleasant and had varying degrees of competence. I suspect we chose a bad evening to go as the pub had been recommended to us.
