Excellent dining experience. Staff is knowledgeable and inviting. Food was tasty. Located in a beautiful nook attached to a hotel. All around 5 star experience

The server was very over saturated with tables. We waited quite a while before she stopped by, and again for water. She seemed totally happy and was very upbeat, very nice and congenial, but had to apologize constantly for being away so long. Our food took quite a while, and was good, except my daughter did not care for the root vegetable au gratin - just wasn’t her taste. We got the famous coconut cake, which was delicious, and also the white chocolate creme brûlée, also excellent. Our first visit was not up to expectations, so maybe we will try again some other time to see if this was just a temporary occurrence.

We come to Peninsula grill every year when we visit Charleston! We can always count on excellent food and service! We have been there many times over the years and it has always our favorite place for dinner!

Very nice and professional team at the Peninsula Grill! Food was outstanding. Stephanie was a great server and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. We’ll be back!!

The food came in small portions, which was fine. The goat cheese mashed potatoes didn't taste any different than instant potatoes. Our server, James, was incredibly dismissive. He brought out the wrong drinks, forgot my mashed potatoes and I sat there needing my water refilled for far too long. He seldom came by and was dismissive when asked for anything. When asked for separate bills at a table for 2, he chuckled and said "I guess?!" And snatched the bill off the table and walked off. Just an incredibly unsatisfying experience, I will not be returning.

Really liked our waiter. He was so attentive to us. The food was good , but $21 for a martini is something I have never seen elsewhere. Thats really high for a cocktail staple. I know it was some sort of infusion but hard to swallow :) my bad. Crab bisque was really nice and the coconut cake is a must. The one thing that stood out to us and seems many others was the noice level, not sure there is much you can do about loud people. Over all a nice experience.
