   Cute brunch spot. Definitely recommended to make a reservation, especially during the weekend. Friendly staff. My friend and I had a nice private room with a bar.

   Very disappointing experience. So much so, we walked out before even ordering. Clearly understaffed for Sunday brunch. 10 minutes to acknowledge our arrival, then told to wait in the hallway of a closed bar, only to be seated alone in the dark closed bar area, surrounded by dirty dishes and unbussed tables. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention to see if we could be moved out of the closed bar hallway. So, we left.

   We had an overall great experience. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. However, we ordered soup that never arrived. We later found out there had been an accident in the kitchen—we assumed the soup was burned. While it was disappointing, the rest of the meal made up for it, and we still enjoyed our time there.

   Upon arrival, 3 different employees asked us “how many”. We said we had a 6:00 reservation and they all found our reservation and each one said “we will be with you in a moment”. It was 5:55 and we finally got seated around 6:10. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came out brown in the middle. He politely asked to send it back. The next one came out extremely bloody and raw in the middle. He then just said he would eat off my plate and they removed his steak charge from our ticket. Service was good but we usually have outstanding service at upscale steakhouses and restaurant. We have always had excellent experiences at Paulette’s so we were shocked at the lack of interest from the staff last night

   Crab was very fishy. Popovers were good. Strawberry butter was frozen or very cold.

    We had a phenomenal evening at Paulette’s and can’t wait to go back! We were visiting Memphis for the long weekend and I made a late reservation on a whim. We got to the restaurant very early due to a torrential rain storm and the hostess kindly checked us in and, while our table wasn’t ready yet, recommended that we head upstairs to Terrace to wait, which was also lovely. She called our phone directly when our table was ready. The food was delicious, perfect cocktails, and service was on point. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and looking for a classy night out!
