Le Paternoster Chop House est plus communément connu sous le nom de restaurant First Dates, la vedette d'une émission de télévision qui fait un tabac sur Channel 4. We require a £50pp deposit to secure this reservation. We offer a full refund policy if the booking is cancelled one week before. All our reservations may be subject to 2 hours return time. Please note that we may need tables back after this period.

Food was excellent, service was subpar. Imagine being served your dinner over your shoulder 😳. I enjoy good service and despite the good food, I think the poor service was enough to encourage me NOT to recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and very attentive service. Just a little on the expensive side but it is London so to be expected.

First time at this restaurant for a few years. I took a client here for lunch. Really liked the menu. For starters I had the goats cheese and figs which was very good and the walnuts were amazing, sweet and chewy with a crunch. For mains we both had the steak sandwich. The steak was very chewy and not very good quality. We did bring it to the attention of the waiter but nothing else happened which was disappointing.

Good food, lovely location but 3 steaks and a fish n chips took 85 min from ordering. Constantly out of water. It was only about 70% full.

I enjoyed an excellent lunch here. Despite the restaurant being packed, the staff remained attentive and provided fantastic service. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with flavourful sides that, while a bit small, complemented the meal well. Overall, a wonderful experience—I look forward to returning soon!

Food was excellent, surprisingly the restaurant was quiet (only 3 tables in) on a Saturday night at 19:00. Therefore atmosphere was missing. Overall very good because of the quality of food.

The Chophouse was relatively quiet for a thursday evening. We ordered the Chateaubriand to be cooked MEDIUM and what we were served was more MEDIUM - WELL with very little pink visible, very surprising for a steakhouse. The sides were good and friend who has the cheeseburger also enjoyed. Service was pretty good. Quite expensive overall and not sure I would recommend to friends. We chose this venue based on it's appearance on First Dates UK however the place has had a massive makeover since the show was filmed there and is no longer instantly recognisable so woudl not recommend if you wanted to experience it as a former TV show venue.
