Crab cake on top of steak was mushy…all bread, could not find any crab. Lobster and crab cake was better, but once again more breading than lobster and crab. Wedge salad was great. Sea Bass was good, green beans a bit bland. Steak was good!

This experience was one out of 72 visits since 2017 and I am sad to say that it was very disappointing. We tried the feature Wagu filet, outside of the regular filet I normally get and it lacked flavor or seasoning. It was bland and unseasoned. I order my filet medium rare and it arrived warm on one side and cold to the touch on the other. I sent the steak that I had bitten back and they took the same bitten steak and put it on the grill and brought back the same steak that seems unsanitary which concerned us as well. We asked for sautéed mushrooms at an additional charge to add a little flavor which didn't help. I was also charged for a tea that I did not order. We left very disappointed. I felt like I should call management to make them aware of the experience. She apologized and said that she would adjust our charges for the service we received and after checking there has been no change. Hopefully this was just an off night being Friday the 13th and this won't happen again .

The food & service was excellent. The calamari for $17 was also good, just not very much actual calamari. Lots of crisp rice noodles instead. The blackened trout & pear/spinach salad were both excellent.

My wife and I got to enjoy our first date night in a while and it was an amazing experience at Paseo Grill. Everything from the service at the bar and our waiter, the quality of the drinks and food. We could not have asked for a better dinner!
