Fondé en 1913, le restaurant italo-créole à la gestion familiale Pascal's Manale est situé dans les quartiers chics de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Il est réputé pour son barbecue de crevettes. Waiter was weak. Never asked us what we wanted to drink, never came check on us. We would’ve had several more drinks for sure. Some of food was forgotten about. Ordered crab cakes for appetizer and calamari was brought and he ran away so fast we didn’t get a chance to say anything.

Great value. Great experience. Every time I visit New Orleans, this is a priority destination. Everything I have tried on the menu is great but my favorite is the Barbecue Shrimp, which is the best in the world.

Excellent food, great atmosphere! We were last there 45 years ago and it’s just as good as before. Great staff too!

Awesome as usual, maybe better than ever since our waiter, Eric, was so enthusiastic and accommodating. Barbecued shrimp is always our go to entree and the Pascal salad was delicious. Everyone in our party was so pleased with their entree selection and the compliments flowed all evening. The bread pudding was to die for! Love that everything has pretty much remained the same since the ‘60s when we first started dining there- A big part of all that is good in Nola.

I’ve been coming here for more than 30 years and it’s always been very good. I always get their BBQ shrimp, which is usually wonderful. Today, it was just okay. Thr shrimps were overcooked, which makes it very difficult peeling and very messy eating. After our meal, the table was a mess. It would have been nice if they would have changed the tablecloth. It would so gross, we had to quickly pay the bill and leave. It was a little disappointing. I was really looking forward to our dinner there.

The food was fantastic, the service A+. The noise level was high enough that conversation was difficult. The location easy to get to. I would eat there again

We were very excited to try this place. Sadly, it was very underwhelming in every way. The hostess was ambivalent, at best. She never greeted us and it was left to me to address her. Once seated, we received water and butter immediately. We then waited ten minutes for our server to greet us, sans menus or apology for the wait. Fifteen minutes in and it’s already a bad experience. We thought the food would be the saving grace. Alas, that was not to be. The chargrilled oysters and the bottle of wine were the highlights, but the wilted salads and entrees were awful. Everything was so bland. The pasta gave pasta roni vibes. The scallops and fish were tasteless. Everything felt like it was missing something. It was very disappointing. Paint and paper peeling off the walls and stained ceilings just capped off an already lackluster dining experience. Changes need to be made, but we won’t be there for them.

We were seated in one of two rooms they had. In the room we were seated they had setup a table for a party of ~ 30 people. After we ordered our drinks and appetizer and entree, the party arrived. They were so loud we had to lean over to each other and yell to talk. Our server (who I do not blame) had to work this large party too. My wife wanted a 2nd drink but after 15 mins before we could get our servers attention, we instead just asked for a to go box and the check. As we were leaving I noticed several tables opened in the other dining room. I do not fault the large party - they made reservations too, but If Pascal’s had cared about us, they would have given us a table in that room and let the large party have the other room. Our appetizer was the crab cake - which could have been good, if I had not picked out so many pieces of shell. This one great neighborhood place is gone. Save you money - go elsewhere.
