One of the few downtown Providence restaurants that is open on a Monday. The lunch menu has something for everyone. Service was impeccable. Ambiance is quite lively with a pub like fare. Never disappoints!

Parkside is such a great place to go for a marvelous dinner. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection as was my husband's Short Ribs. The staff is always attentive and pleasant. Our server Tuesday was a true professional even though she was being teased about her name from some rude guy at the next table, she was a picture of grace. I wanted to tell him we aren't in 5th grade sitting in our school cafeteria. Other than that everything was perfect , actually it was perfect watching her remain so professional when faced with ignorance.

My partner and I had a reservation for my birthday at the beginning of December and it was excellent service, I felt celebrated and welcomed during our first visit. We decided to come back for our Valentine’s Day anniversary, the owner had given us the best table in the restaurant and once again had amazing service! Truly felt like it was our own time there, with our extremely friendly server and welcoming vibe. We will be back soon!

Amazing meal . The waiter Joe was outstanding. He had a great personality and being our first time at the Parkside he went over the entire menu to see what was a good fit for our meal . The salmon and the double pork chop were cooked perfectly. Tables were close but it made it more enjoyable because we had a chance to talk to the other guests. Will definitely return soon

It was a decent experience. I was out with my GF on our Valentine's Day dinner date. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender seemed a bit distracted at times, also didn't know a lot of things off top of his head (what sort of vodka they had). Also, seemed like he had trouble hearing or listening to us as we ordered a 6 piece oyster, and a 12 was brought out. He also mentioned that he'd take it off the bill (entirely?) but it stayed on there and he had to correct it at the end. Maybe he was new there but the service could have been more polished. The food and ambiance were fine, our second time visiting.

Our first time dining at Parkside did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day with roses (even the red linen napkins were folded to look like roses). We sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile. There were specials offered along with the main menu. I had the garlic lemon rotisserie chicken which had loads of flavor with every bite. My boyfriend had the homemade papardelle which was also delicious. Service and food was quick and attentive yet we didn’t feel rushed. A perfect combination for a great dining experience. We will definitely be back.
