Chef Angelo Romano’s Paradiso restaurant exemplifies excellence. I initially felt a sense of hospitality on the phone when making a reservation; that hospitality was reinforced throughout the evening by the genuine warmth and confidence of the chef and staff. They are on top of their game and it shows.
The menu is a superlative exploration of the chef's Italian Riviera background. It relies heavily on locally caught seafood and light (almost simplistic) compositions that skillfully accent the flavors of the high quality ingredients…
Paradiso absolutely earned its stars. Not because of the meticulously clean and organized restaurant, nor the expert service, or even the amazing food and drink.
It is because all these aspects meshed together seamlessly, effortlessly and impeccably. Whereas some restaurants try to impress, Paradiso is simply impressive

We always have amazing food but this time it was Luke warm. They were over crowded so getting our server was difficult. We were never offered desert and had to wait forever for our check.

Dined here on Valentines Day evening. Arrived on time for an 8:30 reservation and was told by the teenage hostess "we'll seat you when we can because we're busy." There were a number of parties ahead of us waiting. Proceeded to the bar area where several people were dining or finishing their meals and ordered a drink. After nearly an hour I went back to the hostess stand. They had simply forgotten us. Another very young hostess had the nerve to say "you could have just eaten here" (in the bar) and I said "no one ever suggested or offered that to us." Instead of a sassy remark I would expect a profuse apology, but none came. Then she tried to seat us at a 4-top in the middle of the busy room next to an open booth, which I told her we'd be sitting at. The service once seated was better, and the food and quality quite good. But this restaurant is wildly expensive. A Valentines special Bolognese (a bowl of pasta with red meat sauce) was $40. There were no entrees below the $40 mark, in fact, with the majority in the $65-$85 dollar range. For prices like this, I expect better ambiance and to not be mishandled at the front desk, even on Valentines Day.

They severely overbooked on Valentine’s Day. 1 hour+ wait.

When we got there, after and hour and ten minutes coming from FLL, the restaurant said that they overbooked the reservations and could not tell me when I was able to get sat because their were people waiting to be sat since 6:15pm that had reservations. My reso was at 8:00 pm. Yelling, attitude, everyone was upset. I just left and had no issues with the hostess. It wasn’t her fault. She shouldn’t be in the front dealing with upset guests due to poor management. Their were no manager and only one hostess. Greedy owners opened the books to overbook the restaurant.

Even though we made a reservation, we had to wait over an hour to get a table. After finally getting seated it took a while for anyone to come around to order drinks. Then we had to ask multiple times for water, oil for bread, and water again throughout the meal. The waiter only came around a couple of times. Food came out lukewarm. Service is bad

Excellent as always! It was Valentine’s Day, so everyone was celebrating, hence the increased noise level! I enjoyed the exciting atmosphere, and watching everyone having a great time. The wait staff is incredible and worked so hard on a busy night to attend to everyone (especially Julio, who we love)! We’ve been going to Paradiso for over ten years. Never disappoints!
