Our server was terrific - very attentive when we needed him to be. He had a great attitude even though he had been there through most of the holiday rush. The food was hot and delicious, and the Thanksgiving fixed pricing was fair - got a lot of food for the money, including two sides, soup and dessert. Overall a great experience!

Every year Pappas has their traditional Thanksgiving dinner for a very reasonable price. Cream of turkey soup, turkey white and dark meat, absolutely delicious stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, delicious green beans that would qualify as haricot verts and cranberry sauce (not the jellied type) and a delicious slice of apple or pumpkin pie. Wonderful meal known by many which accounts for the waiting line of people not having a reservation wanting to get a seat. As for service quality, Deanna was EXCELLENT.....very attentive and friendly without any loss of professionalism. She could compete with Boris, our favorite server. To complement the meal, they still carried my favorite wine, Lago Vino Vert, a Portuguese white which is light and lower in alcohol than most other white wines. If I had to offer a criticism, I'd say the plates, although large, were a bit small given the amount of food placed on them. Advice....wear stretch pants.

I ate at the bar top. They had a special Thanksgiving Menu. I had the Cream of Turkey Soup, Rockfish and Apple Pie. I drank their special Shiraz. Dinner was excellent.

We were a group ranging in age from 28 to 93. Everybody left happy. I had the grilled octopus appetizer, which was outstanding -- as usual. Perfectly cooked and not at all rubbery. For my main course I ordered the scallops. It was a generous portion in a lemon butter preparation. Yum! Two people in our group ordered fish. One was orange roughy and the other was rockfish and both were very good. Everybody else had -- you guessed it -- crab cakes. The crab cakes were perfect, with just the right amount of filler (i.e. not much). Our servers were attentive without being cloying. Since it was a Wednesday night, all wine bottles were half price. We had a chenin blanc that was very good, especially since we paid only $15 for it.

Front of the Office - marginal. Crowded. A lot of talking. Does not seem Customer oriented. Wait Staff - Monica - menu knowledge. Always has a suggestion based on past orders. Attentive and professional. Meal - Seafood Sampler. Neutral. For me too much liquid - onions; oils?? Shrimp and scallops dripping. Scallops under cooked. Likely not a go back menu item. Several to select. Crab cakes have been consistent.
