Had a reservation and waited over 45 minutes to be seated. My friends asked for a rare steak with no pepper, and it was overcooked and had NO seasoning (even salt). But the time she got her steak, I was done with mine. Service was good but slow. We were there for 4 hours.

I wish I could give our experience a 5 star review. Our server Patricia did an outstanding job. She explained the menu really well and made us feel that we were welcomed. I have nothing bad to say about her service. The food was great as well. However, I cannot give the experience a 5 star review because of the hostess. We arrived on time for an 8:30pm reservation. We were seated after 9pm and the hostess told us that we had to hurry up to order because the kitchen was going to close. That placed unnecessary stress on our party. We waited way too long for a table to be told that we may not be served food. We almost walked out of the place. Fortunately, Patricia stepped in and saved the experience. Please, if you are going to make us wait, don’t tell a customer they have to hurry up to order. We expect to return. Hopefully, we get a better experience with the people in charge of seating us.

Finally found a good steakhouse in Houston - it’s Pappa’s Bros! The food was good; atmosphere good; and what really stood out was the service. Exactly what is expected but other restaurants can’t seem to achieve. Pappa’s Bros was great. In terms of food, we ordered lobster bisque, bone marrow, two filets, mashed potatoes, caramel tarte, a Manhattan eagle rare, and wine. All yummy.

Great overall experience, atmosphere is amazing with any amazing staff. Crab cakes for starters is a must, also Steak Ribeye is absolutely fantastic and the Mac Cheese side outta this world.
