Staff was very friendly! Loved our waiter and talked about all the Christmas decorations. Food was excellent !

The decor is beautiful and the ambiance of the place is good, However I’m disappointed that there was only 2 bartenders for so many people at the bar, Me and my husband were standing there for 10 minutes and no one asked us what we wanted. My husband ordered the pasta with shrimp and it was a very small portion .

Fun Christmas themed bar. Decor was beautiful. Food was OK, menu was minimal.

Very busy. Hostess sat us in a tiny, separate room upstairs away from the main dining room. About 10 min after being seated, someone came and moved us into the main dining room. We never even saw a waiter. Someone just came and took our order and then someone else brought out the food. No one came to check on us, give us more water, ask if we needed anything - nothing. Food was mediocre at best. This place is highly over rated and not worth your time or money. The Xmas decorations aren’t even that good. Go to Rolf’s instead.

We went to this restaurant for the Christmas decorations, every inch is decorated so that part was true in the reviews. It’s a lot and a little overwhelming and just seemed junky. We had 11:45 reservations, they are not open much earlier, and they were out is the soup of the day and one of the specialties. They did comp us desert. The waitress was ok but had too many tables. The men ordered smoky old fashions and they were not smoky. The food was ok but you can tell it’s not a priority. There are a lot of great restaurants in NYC that are decorated beautifully so I would pass on this one. Take a picture out front, that’s the best part.

Amazing decor. Food was good as well ..we just ate typical bar food…. Hamburger and chicken sandwich. They can with great standard Fries. Now that service. Besides the person who sat us everyone else (3 different people) didn’t appear to have customer service skills. Kind of felt like herding cattle ever though it wasn’t seasonal crowded yet. Food was order and out in 7 min so take your time if your their for ambience. Prices were fair and appreciated. Great decor! We didn’t see any holiday drinks available. When asked they said they were in the menu but nothing referred to a holiday drink. They are missing some revenue but skipping over a holiday drink menu. I would return but now I know what to expect.

Over the top decorations make for a festive get together. That said, many items are in disrepair, broken, and should be tossed. Primary server and 2 assistants were very attentive. Cocktails were yummy!! Only negative is the food. Meals were incomplete, missing items noted in the menu. Medium rare steak frites was medium well and room temp/cold; fries were good. Croque madam and monsier were essentially French toast. If you want good/great French food, go to Le Grande Boucherie.

The Christmas decor is amazing. It’s like stepping into santas shop. Loved it. My only letdown was the music. Visiting this time of year, wanting to experience the festive season with such beautiful festive decor, they should follow through with the theme and keep festive music. They played maybe one song every now and then. I understand the bar is very busy too but still, The food was good.
