Depuis plus de 20 ans, le Paolo's a apporté les saveurs italiennes dans le Kent. Paul Raftis fonda le restaurant après avoir appris à cuisiner aux côtés de sa mère, Darlene Raftis. Il aime la cuisine ouverte, qui lui permet de discuter avec vous pendant qu'il travaille. Il ne se lasse pas d'entendre « Ça sent si bon ici ! » « En tant que marathonien, il est la preuve vivante que vous pouvez manger italien et être en bonne santé. » En fait, l'un de ses plats signature, les « Fettucine Paolo », a été présenté dans le magazine Runner's World. « Il s'agit d'un des plats que j'ai créé. Il ne contient ni crème ni beurre. » Ce délicieux plat de pâtes est à base d'huile d'olive, d'ail, de bouillon de poule, de vinaigre balsamique, de tomates séchées, d'artichauts et de poulet. Donc, que ce soit pour sa bruschetta, son cioppino, ses pizzas ou ses spaghettis accompagnés de boulettes de viande, Paul vous remercie de venir manger dans son établissement.

We wanted to like this place. It’s a neighborhood spot, great family story… but our experience was not positive. Was seated and waited for over 5 minutes for water from our waitperson. We brought a bottle of wine, asked for a decanter, and was given a decanter that had a stained interior bottom, and looked so dirty we asked the waitperson for a clean one and was told it was THE ONLY ONE THEY HAD????? They took it to clean it and it was returned looking stained still. Was told people don’t usually ask for a decanter so sorry. Ordered a warm spinach salad for two. It was flavorless, watery, and unappealing to look at and to eat. We ordered garlic bread which was so light on garlic it might as well have been shown on the menu as toast. I ordered a” signature dish “ fettuccine Paolo. Very little chicken with no flavor. Vegetables were nice but again nothing special and there was no meaningful Italian seasoning to the dish at all. I tried adding pepper, salt, Parmesan cheese, even balsamic vinegar. Nothing helped My dinner partner ordered their summer special Pork bocconcini. The pork was very nice however the sauce it was on tasted like melted jelly. The side of fettuccine Alfredo was quite nice and we both used that to help our dishes. So-we will not be back.

I LOVE their clams. After you finish them, dip some bread in the sauce and finish it up. You’re welcome!

Food was excellent except the spinach salad. Kid's menu was perfect and service excellent.

This is a great neighborhood spot for classic Italian favorites. If you’re on the Kent ridge and looking for a delicious but affordable meal, you can always count on Paolo’s.

Bacon wrapped shrimp w/Gorgonzola appetizer was outstanding! Wife had her always great Gorgonzola Chicken. I had the Tuaca Scallops. Just Ok. I felt the sweet sauce overwhelmed the Scallops. Good but I probably wouldn’t order again.

Paolo is, and will always be, my favorite local restaurant. The food is homemade and phenomenal, customer service is great, and they will accommodate you anyway they possibly can. I highly highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Paolos is always delicious. I have not had a bad dish there and I’ve been going since August of 1993!! The desserts are so so good and the Chicken Marsala is a weakness of mine. Also love the Cioppino … also love the Crab and Scallops dish. You get the idea….
