Our pizza wound up not being what we ordered. While the server offered to have another made, we didn’t have the time for that. She apologized, but made no adjustment to the bill. We come to the restaurant regularly and like it, but were disappointed by this experience.

The food was amazing! The ambience was nice, and we really appreciated that they didn’t play loud music so that we could actually have a conversation. So many trendy restaurants out there play loud music when you’re trying to dine with friends/family. We really appreciate that this restaurant was quiet and The food was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

In a massive city like ours with a huge number of Italian restaurants, Panzanella has the most authentic Italian food I’ve ever eaten in Los Angeles. Even the vibe is more Italian. Instead of rushing you through your meal, the service allows you to savor the dinner, making the time with friends or family the event. The menu offers classic dishes as well as specials. I’ve never had a disappointing meal there. My food has been perfect every time. And, no, I don’t work there or know the owner. It’s just a great authentic Italian restaurant.

First of all they charge $1,50 per person for narrow, thin bread with lots of air bubbles. Ridiculous! The Cesar salad was atrocious. No flavor at all, watered down mayonnaise, is how I’d describe it. We shared it, thinking that for $19.50 at a neighborhood place, it would be fine. It was a joke. About three tablespoons of lettuce - literally. Even the people we were with said “where’s the lettuce?” When I ordered it i asked if it had anchovies. He said yes. I’d say no. Just awful! I had a food pasta that was indeed al dente and had seafood and was $31.50. It was “ok”, not to “wow” about but ok. I Valet parking is $12. This isn’t a great Italian restaurant at all with our experience. Sorry I can’t say better.

Really delicious Italian food, although it has become even pricier (but what hasn't?). Saturday evening is very crowded and, although I rated the noise level "Energetic", it really was more like "Deafening". The noise level did taper down to "Tolerable" at about 8:30. So, for your next special occasion, treat yourself a fabulous meal at a special occasion price. I suggest making a reservation for between 5:30 and 6:15 or from 8:45 to closing if you intend to have a conversation with the person(s) you intend to have dinner with.

The service was superb from the moment we entered until we left. Friendly and courteous service from everyone involved. The food was to notch. From the bread & olive tapenade to the lamb chop and pasta. Delizioso. We loved it. We’ll definitely return. I wish I spoke Italian.
