Pacific Coast Grill's oceanfront venue features unique Pacific Coastal cuisine, an oyster bar, select sushi rolls, and a plethora of seafood choices, delicious steaks and more! There are two levels of dining at the new PCG with every dining seat in the house carefully planned to have an ocean view. There are bars on both levels and a heated outdoor patio and a deck with one of the best views of the Pacific Ocean and the line up at Cardiff Reef. You can watch surfers, kite surfers, dolphins, whales and spectacular sunsets from throughout the restaurant.

The food is so good and the view is fantastic. The valet with the red shoes is so friendlly. He and some of the other staff always remember us and make us feel so welcome.

We dined at Pacific Coast Grill in Cardiff and had mixed feelings about the experience. My wife ordered the tofu with black rice, but unfortunately, the dish fell short. The rice was overcooked and had a mushy texture, which overshadowed the dish’s potential. I had the steak, which was cooked to the correct temperature but lacked a standout flavor profile. While the presentation of the food was nice, the taste did not quite live up to the expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. The dessert, however, was beautifully presented and offered a sweet ending to the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant and the service were good, but the quality of the main courses could use improvement to match the overall dining experience.

The food is outstanding! If you get seated upstairs just know 9/10 times they will have the beautiful ocean view blocked with plastic. The service upstairs was subpar, it’s always been top notch downstairs. They had a fixed menu for New Year’s eve and added $10-15 more to their usually priced meals. We were a table of 4 and our bill was over $400. We love PCG and it’s our favorite restaurant. We are regulars and always give 5 stars. Last night was really disappointing.

Our New Year's Eve dinner was an excellent experience. We arrived early for a 5pm dinner reservation, as we had show tickets for later in the evening. We enjoyed the first stop for drinks and an appetizer in the bar. John was attentive and went beyond meeting our requests. Then we were seated at the upstairs, outdoor patio which was simply lovely. (previous experiences were downstairs, both inside and outside). The view of the ocean between 5 and 7 pm was beautiful. Our food was delicious and we found the "special" menu enjoyable even though we didn't expect a "different" menu for this occasion. (Sometimes I find this a disappointment but it worked in this instance). Between the 4 of us we had the Apple Pomegranate salad, the Filet Mignon Spring Rolls (YUM), the Salmon and Tuna served sashimi style, the Wild Striped Bass and the Sea Scallops with Lobster risotto!! Cole was our server and he was On It! Very friendly, attentive and efficient. For dessert we had the White Chocolate Bread pudding with Bourbon caramel sauce which was OUTSTANDING. Cole recommended the side of vanilla gelato which everyone should get. And the PCG Espresso Martinis were amazing. Loved bringing our friends here, as it was their first time. Looking forward to another visit. Happy New Year 2025!
