They tend to overcook their fish - this has been a problem in the past and it continued last night

loved the restaurant but the menu did not note that the pasta I ordered was squid ink pasta so I was shocked when it came and could not eat it. Waiter kindly took it off my bill and I ordered something else. Overall my husband and I loved it there and would return when we were in Tampa

Came here for dinner. Oysters were fresh, the steak tartar was awesome. The pork shank my husband ordered was outstanding. He was so happy eating them it! I had the sea bass with whipped polenta and it was amazing. The restaurant was quiet enough to enjoy a casual conversation easily and the view was as nice as always!

Oystercatchers is beautiful with many windows with great views. The staff is very accommodating and our server was great. They had a piano player in the past but no longer. The menu is limited and expensive. Bread was great. Wine pour was small. Husband had black grouper which was served with black risotto which we did not like. Very noisy. The diners seemed on the young side there were quite a few families with children. Dress was very casual some men had baseball hats some in shorts. Would describe as a chic restaurant but not a date night place.

We visited Oystercatchers twice previously. On those occasions, the food was better seasoned than on this visit.

It was our anniversary and we forgot to tell them on our reservation. We were seated juat across from the best table but we had a wonderful view and when dessert came it had happy anniversary chocolates. Our waiter ( which I have lost his name) was the most Impressive. He gave wonderful recommendations which were most appreciated. The food was wonderful in taste and lovely in presentation. We will return often as we live in the Tampa Bay Area. If you are staying at the Grand Hyatt this is a must .

We went to Oystercatcher’s to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a great time. The food and view of the bay were amazing. Our server, Max, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and Calamari for appetizers and they were terrific. For main courses, she had the scallops and I had a chef’s special with lobster tail, scallop and sea bass. Everything was cooked well and delicious. We will be going back.

The restaurant was empty due to a heavy thunderstorm in the area. We were seated right away. Our server Debby was friendly, informative and professional. The food was exceptional.

Food was good. Drinks were great and the company even better. Nice atmosphere to celebrate my birthday. Wait staff was very attentive, sometimes a bit too zealous but all over great experience.

We chose Oystercatchers to celebrate our 30th anniversary and were delighted! Upon arrival there was an anniversary card on our table and the server promptly brought complimentary glasses of bubbly. The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding and there was even a “happy anniversary” chocolate on our dessert. Thank you to Oystercatchers for making our special day even more memorable! We will definitely be back.
