With an expansive garden terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows, OXO Tower Restaurant is an ideal place to enjoy a seasonal British menu created by Executive Head Chef Jeremy Bloor. The food was not up to standard as you have high expectations for the venue and price. It should have been excellent and it was ok. Nothing terrible but all a bit bland and Luke warm and over salted. I was disappointed. The view is still good and servers were nice but it was all a bit declining in my opinion. I’m not sure if I usually have been with the work nights rather than a Friday/ sat night. It was a special occasion and I was taking out friends who were in town. I won’t choose that again and next time would probably just go to the bar for a drink and the view

I really liked the menu and the bistro feel that it gives off - my only criticism and it’s a small one was the seating . I felt far to close to other customers and was sat next to others when there was other covers available But the service was excellent and food delicious.

Desire at the reception greeted us well and assured that she has got our back, which she did right from helping with the table with a view to arranging the surprise birthday cake for my wife. The kids menu was fantastic which my 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed. We had the dinner with a view of St. Paul’s, we ordered duck for starters and lamb for mains, both delicious and appetizing. I recommend OXO tower for special occasion in addition to formal / casual dining, it is all worth it.

The food was was quite bland and one of our servers was very rude when we asked a question about a portion size of one of the sides. Won’t be returning.

You're going there for the views of course, the food is secondary. I arranged a business dinner at the restaurant on a warm summer Thursday evening but rather annoyingly they could not guarantee a table on the balcony. So I arrived earlier and had a couple of drinks -the aperol was perfectly suited for the occasion. The views did not disappoint. The wine list is extensive, not cheap but very good. The food otherwise is not what it should be at that price. The scallops were delish: perfectly cooked, lovely red pepper and sauce and a julienne bed. Great. The turbot however came out disappointingly small and dry. Especially at £33. Service was fine overall, kinda forgot us by the end when we wanted to pay. Think the brasserie might be a better option?

Delicious food, beautifully presented. Great selection of drinks too. Lots of staff ended up serving us, through the meal, which meant we lost the personal touch that the initial server offered.
