Small and romantic we specialize in celebrations with family and friends, or just a quiet dinner with good conversation. We are family owned and operated and have been serving our community since 2001.

Drive in to Opera Alley and be transported. We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.

Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!! Eat good food often, break bread with friends and family, spend time with those you love, and we will see you soon.

The service was friendly and really good. The owner was super nice and sweet. Appetizers were great, the burrata and prosciutto with melon was amazing; just needed some more melon. Our entrees were good. I got the "no pasta" lasagna made with butternut squash which was very good. My wife got the cioppino which was good however, wasn't a traditional red sauce and was lacking in depth and flavor. Chocolate torte cake was rich and delicious, fantastic! Overall a very good local restaurant I would recommend and revist again.

Wonderful dinner, new owners were gracious and friendly keeping the same quality and ambience that Deanna created. Will definitely be back.

3 of us celebrated two birthdays. As usual, everything was special. I absolutely love the unique lasagna but decided to try the ragu this time. It was tasty but a different pasta I think would have worked better. When I have out of town guests, I always take them to Over the Moon because it is unrushed, quiet, and unique, homey decoration. Once we saw a young man get on his knee and propose .....ahhhhh. It is a place that is memorable.

I will definitely be coming back so glad I could find a really good restaurant for date night . All the waiters made it a very pleasant experience.

They were able to take us a little earlier than our reservation. Knowledgeable staff nice atmosphere and the food was great. The prosciutto appetizer was very good as was the short rib pasta.

We have had several meals here and never have we been disappointed. Very romantic date night restaurant with love letters in a box on the table. The food is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Run don’t walk!

Over the Moon has always been extraordinary. Deanna Bender created a wonderful environment and marvelous food. Daniel Esposito is the new owner and has maintained the high standard of Deanna - fabulous food and great surroundings. Deanna and Danielle will be missed. Their presence will always be felt when entering Over the Moon and Daniel will maintain the excellent level of food in taste, diversity, and presentation while adding new additions.

Very romantic fine dining space. My wife and I went for our first anniversary, and the whole staff was aware and made us feel special. The food was delicious and well made. Dishes ranged from high $20s to $50 for entrees, with cocktails/wine in the mid teens. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive, and we felt welcome and unrushed. I’d highly recommend it for special occasions!

As always, the food was incredible and the environment remains cozy, beautiful, and welcoming. I love when their salmon is on the menu because it’s always delicious. Their AIP/Paleo dessert is a consistent fave, and did not disappoint. The seasonal salad with arugula, golden beets, and pickled grapes blew my mind. So good!
