Service was outstanding. My friends liked the branzino. I ordered the lobster risotto, and it was very overcooked to a mushy consistency. Although they took the lobster out of the very small tails, they presented the dish with the empty tails with sauce over them. Strange. I’ll just stick to pasta next time.

Osteria is a classic, and we love it! Try the Pearustini, a Lino created martini. The service is excellent, too.

We decided to make a reservation here as a nice ending to our relaxing day at Ojo Caliente. Everyone was very welcoming and kind and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. However, our dishes were less than special. I ordered the meat special which was a veal Marsala which was said to come with mashed potatoes and broccoli. When it arrived, it came with a sad side of plain jane mashed potatoes and wilted spinach. The sauce was also a sad rendition of Marsala but tasted mostly of the vinegar from the obviously jarred marinaded artichokes they also had on the plate. The veal was dry and tough as well. My partner ordered the Fettuccine Carolina which was described as a homemade spinach fettuccine with sundried tomatoes and a cream sauce. When it arrived, it looked like jarred vodka marinara sauce with some canned sundried tomatoes and wilted spinach. The "house made" fettuccine was over cooked and tasted like it could have been a fresh pasta package found at your local grocery store. We were really glad we didn't spend $20 a piece on a glass of wine because it would have been a waste to try and enjoy it with such mediocre food. It was a disappointing end to our otherwise incredible day. We definitely won't be returning.

Excellent Calimari appetizer. Veal Picatta and Linguini with shrimp and scallops were superb.

The food was wonderful. I had the tenderloin. Tender is an understatement. It melted in my mouth. The wine was excellent. I asked for a quiet table and got it.

Absolutely worst experience ever in a restaurant. We made reservations a week or two ahead & when arrived we were told they were extremely overbooked. We had a choice of sitting in an unpleasant bar or in a room with long table where party of 20 were to be seated we didn’t know when we chose that spot). It was so loud and the service so bad that we couldn’t hear each other. 40 min later we asked to be moved when we flagged down waiter (took 30 minutes) and had to go to bar. Then waiter forgot us all together and I had to stand up and wave cc to be noticed so we could pay. Will never go back & advise others not to even try.

Nicolas was a fabulous waiter… Food was delicious and hot. The desserts were great.

My dish was under-seasoned and shrimp was overcooked. Room was noisy and there was an alarm beeping throughout the meal. The staff tried to locate and disarm the beeping but it was still an annoying distraction.
