We went New Year’s Eve to there prefixed menu clebration. It was a disappointment from beginning to end. Ceviche was frozen. Beef was luke warm. Soup was salty to the point of being inedible. To to everything off we weren’t given a choice on desert like the menus offered but our waiter just slapped down some random desserts some of which were clearly canned pineapple and melted ice cream. Just awful all around.

Typically this restaurant is really good. New Years Eve they seemed over booked, we waited a half a hour for a reserved table, the Prix Fixe menu was not listed as required on Open Table so we didn't know we had to pay $140 per person or order ala carte for $70 - the appetizer of tuna tartar was substandard, veiny, tiny portion, we sent it back, next the steak came out over done, we sent it back the next cut came out a completely different cut of meat, not what was on the menu, it seemed like the food had been sitting in kitchen already prepared, rushed, no care taken, the staff was rushed. Granted New Years Eve is crazy, but the food was really unacceptable for the price.

Went for the New Year's Eve dinner. The three-course meal and a bottle of wine came to $190 per person! Way overpriced! Service was spotty the food mediocre and the steak very tough.

Osteria, as always on Nnew Years Eve has outdoes themselves, again. Lino and his amazing staff prepped a very special three course dinner menu that has won our palate 3 years in a row. I had the wonderful lintel zuppa and my wife chose the fresh homemade buretta with olives and arugula. Both were fantástico primo dishes. For secundo i had the lobster cannelloni and Miss Patty had risotto eggplant. Again beautifully presented with delicous combinations of colors and delectable flavors. Dolce was a wholesome finish with panettoni in fluffy cream and wifes flambe pineapple. Bravo Lino and ALL the wonderful people of Osteria d' Assisi.

The recommended risotto with lobster was a bad choice for us. The lobster in it wasn’t fresh. It wasn’t a good experience.

The restaurant was really accommodating for our family (wild kids and food allergies). The food was great and really enjoyed the staff.

Service was good and quality of food was good but one dish was not as expected. Kitchen was slow because of holiday.

Nice place but my seafood pasta wasn’t even warm. For a 5:45 seating, service was lacking although I think the server tried…. Maybe the kitchen was backed up. Have eaten there a number of times and those times came away with a favorable opinion.

The waiter was too informal, bordering on condescending, and did not pay attention. Other tables were served before us despite being seated significantly before. They messed up my son's order and admitted not writing it down. The fix came but still with mistakes. It's a shame since we've been coming for years. The wait staff, on the other hand, was attentive and excellent.
