As always, a great dinner, From being greeted by Paola who is the absolute best hostess, to impeccable service and delicious food, dining at Osso is a wonderful experience. The food, especially the steaks, are superb. We started with a huge shrimp cocktail followed by a baby kale salad. The salad was delicious and the kale was a welcome change from the traditional romaine. Four of us had steaks which arrived perfectly seasoned and done to medium rare. The french fries were crisp and hot. Side dish of spinach was also very good. The restaurant was full but the noise level did not reflect it. You can carry on a conversation which we appreciated. Tired of screaming at each other, which happens at many other popular restaurants. We were celebrating two birthdays and they comped us two desserts which was very nice. Highly recommend Osso whether for a special Occasion or just a night out.

From being greeted warmly by the lovely hostess, to the well prepared libations by the bartender and the efficient and friendly waiter, it was a great experience! Oh and the food was amazing. Every single bite! Best steakhouse experience we have had in SF in years. And we live here. See you soon.

Everything on the menu is really delicious and well done. You should definitely try the sides, particularly the sautéed mushrooms, and the carrots.

We didn’t feel the waiter was very attentive. At least not very sincere. And didn’t help with our questions on the wine. A bit dismissive.

We came for my Wife"s Birthday. Didn't realize parking was an issue, as there was an event at the Masonic Hall. $60. VERY CROWDED, but had reservations for 7PM, and were seated quickly. The service, atmosphere, drinks, appetizer, Steaks were excellent! I ordered a Lobster side that was HORRIBLE. Probably the worst lobster tail of any place we have ever eaten. Overcook, unseasoned, dry. It was as if was boiled, MUCH too long and put on a plate. For a fine steakhouse with excellent meat, I would NOT recommend the lobster. Maybe cooked earlier and sat around? The waiter was VERY busy with all the customers who came in to eat quickly and leave to make the show. When he came back late in our meal and asked how everything was, I informed him the lobster was severely overcooked, but the rest of the meal was excellent. He looked at me inquisitively, nodded, and left. I was holping he would come back and possibly ask if I wanted it replaced, or taken off the check....NOPE! $42 lobster side with my filet, partially eaten. I should have AT THE VERY LEAST had it removed from the check. It was my wife's birthday, NO DRAMA needed. I paid the bill, left a 20% tip. Might return for a steak, probably not soon.
