Located in Binfield Heath, Henley on Thames. Orwells' Kitchen is headed up by Michelin starred chef Ryan Simpson & Liam Trotman. The aim is to source the best produce available locally and beyond to prepare delicious dishes with no fuss to let the quality of the produce shine. The kitchen takes a rural approach combined with modern cooking. The restaurants' been recognised in all the major guides and have continued to hold 4AA rosettes consecutively for 8 years. We have a nice relaxing lounge area and the atmosphere is cosy and classy. The garden area has great views and is open on warm days for dining. We are also dog friendly.

Orwells offers a choice of Al a carte, Wednesday - Sunday alongside a Tasting menu.
The Lunch menu runs from Wednesday to Sunday, its £45 for 2 courses and £55 for three courses. Sunday has a roast offering which in £55 2 courses & £65 3 courses, alongside the tasting menu and A la carte

Absolutely what I expected and hoped for After seeing Ryan and Liam on tv Ian’s my son living close by I’ve wanted to visit Exceptional friendly and perfect all around from start to finish Just wish I didn’t have a 2 hour journey home Thank you all so much

Orwells is our favourite fine dining restaurant in the Henley-on-Thames area. We enjoyed superb cocktails, amazingly delicious food and extremely attentive service. Orwells is such a delightful restaurant. Ryan, Liam and the team do such a fantastic job! Bravo!

Sunday lunch was delightful. We started by having a drink outside surrounded by fields and beautiful flower boarders in the garden. We ate a delicious lunch inside - the meat was of a good quality. We were there 3 hours in total. It was the escapism I needed.

Best Sunday lunch in recent memory. Delightful and attentive staff and an extremely pleasant owner. Food delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Food and service were amazing and we had a bit of a gap between main and dessert which we didn't mind as we were busy chatting. Would definitely recommend to friends.

We had a lovely time, it was a great overall experience and evening but it is a little on the expensive side. The first 3 courses of the tasting menu were incredible but gradually we felt the power of the taste decreased for the remaining courses which was slightly disappointing. The cocktails were delicious and the service and ambience were top notch. At the price point you’re expecting everything to be phenomenal so that’s why we slightly marked down for our review.
