Service was very slow, took along time between visits between our table and kitchen other tables. For example we asked for cheese bread come before dinner and we got it after we received our dinner. One guest asked if the chicken was boneless chicken breast and was told yes, when we got the dinner our chicken breasts had maybe a leg or thigh attached. Over all dinner wasn’t a great experience.

Been to this restaurant for years, live about 2 minutes away. The services, food quality, and ambiance are always excellent. Made reservations for my wife's bday and showed up on time and it was a very short wait; and were seated within a few short minutes. The food tasted great, even asked for a little taste of the rice pilaf to see if I wanted the pilaf or the mashed potatoes. I opted for the rice pilaf after given a small amount to taste. Karen, (yes, thats her name, unfortunate I know) was a great waitress and even wished my wife a happy birthday. Don't always come here, but we always know what type of service and food we get when we come here, and it is always excellent.

A special experience. Much charm with the mining theme woven throughout. Fabulous views. Attentive service. Food was very good, but the baby back ribs—though a large portion—weren’t quite “fall off the bone”. And a bit dry. Cocktails and appetizer were superb. Would certainly go again. (And super friendly valet service!)

We are frequent customers w this restaurant since the 1980s. We go 8-10 times a year. The view is to die for. The server Karen did a great job. Steak was good and the bread was so good. We usually go there for an experience, but that is not the case these days. It seems like they want you in and out quickly. They always bring the entrées while you’re still eating your salad, which is so annoying. The salad bar is subpar. The onion soup was basically broth. It also seems like the banquet and the weddings are the important than the customers. There were two last night going on. There were many employees just standing around. The manager was joking around with the employees when we got there and in the same spot when we got our salad and in the same spot when we left. He seems to be doing nothing. No quality control. The bathroom was a mess. My wife had no toilet paper, no paper towels. It was disgusting. The three employee standing at the front desk were just laughing and joking around and doing nothing. Unfortunately, the Mining Company has gone downhill. Many good restaurants in Orange County to choose from. Unfortunately, this won’t be one of them from now on for us.

Everything was suburb … our waitress ( Belen) was the best , EVER, made the dining experience most enjoyable. Always smiling and checked on our table quite often. She deserves a 20% raise!

Our Reservation was at 5:00pm on Friday just as dinner was being served. We got seated right away. Our server was Wendy. She was very attentive. Her service was excellent. Salad Bar was Fresh and pleasing. The Ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection. This has been our go to restaurant for the last four times that we’ve gone out. Thank-you for our enjoyable dinner and service.

food can be better some was cold and overcooked but the service was amazing the view was fantastic i guessed thats what u pay for here when you visit

The service was by far better than the food! The brunch was very disappointing & tasted terrible. The only good entree were the prime rib & crab. The chili verde used to be delicious, is now not even edible & they didn’t even have tortillas to make a taco. They cut out the tortillas, salad bar down to nothing, fruit was terrible, no good desserts, no soup, no ice cream bar - not much tasted good! Will not go back for brunch. Not worth the price!

My wife and I had a great anniversary experience at Orange County Mining Company. Our server Lauren was extremely kind and professional. She made our experience that much better. The food was better than expected as well. We will be back very soon.
