They were out of lamb, ok but were also out of pork but didn’t inform until it was ordered. Unacceptable. When a restaurant is out of something & it is unexpected, you don’t wait until the other choice is made to inform the diner that the second dish it’s also not available. It’s almost like they were like “don’t pick the pork, don’t pick the pork, I hope he doesn’t pick the pork”. Nice way to ruin an anniversary dinner. And nothing was comped. Ended up at Five Guys. At least dependable.

This without a doubt is the finest restaurant in Sarasota. It was outstanding in every way. Service was impeccable and the view and ambiance was wonderful. The menu was great, and the food was well presented. This is the place to go for a special occasion. I overheard several folks mention they were celebrating a birthday, anniversary, etc. Definitely plan to return.

The view from the restaurant is fantastic. Manatees swam close by. View is matched by the quality of food and service

Service and ambience was excellent. The old fashioned and pear vodka were good and strong. The shrimp and crab cake starters were great. The hoggish entree was great. The halibut was a disappointment and was over cooked and watery. The restaurant took care of this in a very grateful way. Ophelia is a class act and one of the best in Sarasota.

Lovely setting on bay in Siesta Key. Great service and mainly seafood menu with good choices. Ambiance a bit tired and somewhat dated. Nice for special occasions.

We had a great experience at Ophelia’s. Greeted early at the front. The food was incredible and the atmosphere on the water is relaxing. Sienna was super attentive, personable and recommended some great appetizers and dinners. The 1 1/2 lobster (shelled) served over vegetable ratatouille was so delicious and different. The escargot appetizer also had a different twist with the most amazing sauce. Both the beet and cesar salad were fresh and make good starter choices. Kudos to the chef! Drinks from the bar were excellent. Overall, always have a great meal and service when we take our guests here.

What an amazing experience. Les and his team are just wonderful. They are very knowledgeable about the menu! This restaurant is a MUST visit!!

Seated promptly. Sevice was great. One dish was very salty. Removed from our bill. Celebrating an anniversary and gave us champagne for a toast. Very nice experience.
