    One in Toronto's Yorkville district is all about the scene. While the service is excellent and the location is prime, the food is predictable, boring and expensive, making it a missed opportunity for culinary excellence and imagination. A big miss here. This restaurant is perfect for those wanting to be seen in this quaintly chic neighborhood. The staff and neighborhood make this place what it is.

    The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a big smile and such a kind hostess. Our server was exceptional. We listen to our recommendations and enjoyed the lobster appetizer. It was phenomenal, we also tried the truffle fries, lamb chop, and veal Parmesan all of them fantastic. To top off a perfect meal we enjoyed the chocolate almond tart with caramel ice cream. I could’ve had three. It was amazing .

    Great food, great venue. Very high price, service was a little bit confusing but good. Overall a very good high end experience.

    Another great experience at One Restaurant. Elaine and Lucas truly know the meaning of customer service. Thank you for a great Father’s Day lunch.

    A hallmark of the yorkville bougie lunch. Half the menu is great, the other half is so-so. Stay away from steaks and cooked meats and you’ll be ok with the quality and prices.

    The ambiance was ecstatic, vibrant and quite noisy. The service was prompt, non-intrusive and helpful. As far as the wine is concerned I'm used to a bit sweeter Pinot Gris but I guess it's very individual. My fried aubergine steak was delicious unfortunately there was a bit too much dressing poured over it, maybe the dressing could be served at the side and let the guest decide how much is just the right amount. Overall it was a very pleasant evening, a good choice to celebrate my daughter's graduation.
