Since its inception, One Duval, the signature restaurant of The Pier House Resort & Spa has established its own food and wine personality, creating a culture of passion and seeking perfection. Located on Duval Street, One Duval remains true to its local surroundings, providing an elegant, artfully inspired atmosphere, where a view of the ocean is accessible from any seat in the house.

Under the direction of Chef Maria Manso, the restaurant has quickly become a “must experience” destination for discerning diners. One Duval showcases the area’s cuisine movement with an eclectic tribute to the flavors of he Caribbean and the Americas.

Location is great, food is very average, Goat Cheese and Pear salad was tasty but the Snapper was nothing to write home about. Insanely they play ceap like Bon Jovi way too loud for a scenic dining spot. If I wanted rock and roll blasted in my ear I'd be at a bar thanks. Get a clue people. Not worth the effort and frankly the light crowd night I was there seems to speak volumes. Gonna need a revamp plan soon here.

Just okay. Food was good. Lobster mac and cheese was best part. A great location but terrible ambiance. Needs new decor. Restaurant inside and out was very sad furniture. Especially since you are right on the water. They can do better.

The food was very good - but the service was a bit inattentive, surprising since the restaurant was not busy. The soundtrack for the evening was a very melancholy 70s mix - interesting and a bit depressing.

Disappointing especially with the high prices charged. Steak was ordered medium and came out rare. There was one large carrot included on the plate which was essentially raw. Location was beautiful and waitress was great.

Service was very slow. Took more than 1 hour after ordering to get food. Lobster, Tuna and Gnocchi were ok, but nothing special for the price point.Would not recommend

We had dinner inside as it was a bit chilly outside. We had the Conch chowder, Lobster special and the Pork chop. Pork chop was a bit tough. The Conch chowder was good. The Lobster ravioli was a bit heavy but the Lobster tail was excellent and cooked to perfection. I would have given the place a 4 start except for one thing. When we got the bill, an automatic 20% tip was added as a service charge. I don't recall this clearly stated on the menu or at least it was not easily visible. In addition, there is another tip line for people who didn't realize the manditory tip to leave more. This actually tipped me off as my understanding of the tip is for rewarding good service. Not sure if this is for all customers or a discriminatory procedure. If the restaurant is going to use manditory service charge approuch, it should be included in the listed price and clearly stated. This is done in many countries where service level is impeccable. In any event, we will most liky not return to this restaurant because of this policy and certainly will leave a review on tripadvisor.

We had New Years Eve dinner with you last year and totally enjoyed! This year we felt a bit rushed!

Our server Jorge was so kind and patient as my daughter who is picky was trying to find what to eat. Dinner was delicious. Burrata appetizer was wonderful and my seared tuna was cooked perfectly. The view was nice to watch the boats go by. Would definitely tell people to go eat here .
