This was a first visit, and we definitely will be back when in the area. All the entrees were very nice, different pastas with shrimp and crab meat were both tasty, but the angel hair was a little mushy while the bucatini was perfectly al dente. One person has a swordfish special and said that is was really good and cooked perfectly. The hanger steak with fries was another hit. That too was cooked to order and had great flavors. Our server was attentive and checked back to make sure that our meals were to our liking.

The restaurant was very busy and it took over 20 minutes for our waiter to come to the table to take our drink orders. The waiter must have had too many tables to serve.

Went on a hunch ... Definitely not angry about the decision. We will absolutely be back for another amazing dinner. Loved every last bit ... In a word? Impressive !!

One53 never disappoints. On the weekends, your car will be parked by a friendly and competent valet. Inside, you will be welcomed warmly by the hostess Katie and her helpers. At the bar, Craig and Manny create an enjoyable atmosphere and boy can they mix a drink! The wait staff is knowledgeable, personable and efficient. You will feel they want you to have the best possible experience and they do it without pretense. The food is always spectacular and after many years of going there, I’m glad to see they have expanded their vegetarian options somewhat. Thank you for that and all you continue to do. It’s still our favorite place in the area.

We dined in the “cellar” which had a great ambiance. The service was great, as was the food. And the desserts matched the quality of the main dishes. My only regret is that we were not able to order appetizers while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. However, we were offered a basket(s) of bread which had a nice variety and was plentiful.
