The food and drinks here are excellent and the prices are more reasonable than almost anywhere else. I have never eaten anything here that wasn't good.

Food is very good. Tends not to be crowded when we go on early end, which makes us think the quality of the food may not be widely discovered. We’ve been to about 5 Indian restaurants on the upper east side and none is better and only one possibly is as good, but the service is better at Om. I drink a lot of water and my glass never got near empty!

We enjoyed our dinner last week at OM. Service was very friendly, attentive, and responsive without being pushy or oppressive. Ambience was clean, minimalist, and pleaant enough. Some of the dishes were outstanding and delicious; but a few were mediocre (eg, chicken tikka masala). We'll definitely go back when we just want a good, neighborhood Indian meal.

The food was delicious. I ordered the curry salmon with rice and chickpeas. The fish was moist and the curry sauce was just right enough to cover the rice. The servings were fulfilling. I had to take an order home for eating later. I will certainly go back again. The server provided a great wine pairing.

My husband and I love Indian food and went to OM at our daughter’s recommendation. We were not disappointed. The waiter was lovely - professional, not pushy, and very attentive. And the food was delicious! The restaurant was serene - a wonderful respite from the noisy restaurants that make it difficult to hold a conversation. We look forward to our next meal at OM!

Our first time to OM Indian and we couldn't have been more pleased. I just don't know why we waited so long to try. Upon entering, we were pleased to notice the "A" health rating in the window; a priority for us. The service and staff were wonderful - friendly, attentive, eager to help with recommendations (upon request) and catering to our preferences. The menu had a robust and broad offering. The food was plentiful and delicious (full of flavor), and brought to our table in a timely manner. The restaurant was busy with patrons but not noisy. At the end, someone visited our table asking how everything was. Maybe he was the owner? The chef? Regardless, it was a very nice gesture and made us feel like valued guests. An excellent experience and we look forward to returning soon.
