As well as intimate and cosy meals for couples or small groups, we are also a noted venue for group bookings, including cocktail classes, birthdays, hen parties, and weddings - all of which may be combined with a two/three-course meal, buffet, or something more bespoke. Once a month we host the Oliver's bottomless brunch, with option to upgrade to bottomless cocktails. These are always popular and we recommend booking well in advance.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the bar and dance floor area turns into a club setting from 9pm.

We had a great experience here when we came for lunch to celebrate my friends 80th birthday. My friend had been hoping for steak as we had been here before and had steak which was amazing but it was a set sunday menu. We mentioned to our server that we had hoped for steak and he spoke to the chef and arranged this even though it was not part of the lunch menu. We ended up with a beautiful,perfectly cooked steak, a lovely fresh salad and some delicious chips. What great service. Our server was such a nice person and very accommodating.

We absolutely loved our Sunday lunch at Oliver’s and it far exceeded our expectations. The shared roast (one between two with individual choice of meat) was outstanding. Very generous portion sizes with excellent quality food, great accompaniments (roast potatoes, mixed carrots and beans, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puds) and excellent service. Also loved the new decor. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!

Didn’t actually have food so can’t comment Drinks were nice Good service No atmosphere though we got bored and left Toilets are also very confusing no clear signs

Beautifully cooked and presented Sunday roast. No other choice, would have liked a couple more options.

Albet a Saturday night with music and people dancing in the next room, my friend and I had an amazing evening especially with Luke who works there and was lovely and attentive. Food was really tasty, well presented and good value. Definately recommend this place.

Very nice renovated restaurant with very friendly, good service. Food was good but we did not get the pork roast which was described on the menu and we wanted - we were served pork belly instead. Starter and all side dished were lots and excellent. Would not choose to share again and rather pay £2.50 more for own dish.

We were quite disappointed, the Yorkshire puddings came out frozen at the bottom. They were rushed as they were actually forgotten about as they didn’t arrive with the rest of our food.

I cannot fault anything about my visit to Oliver’s. Everything about the meal was fantastic. Food was very tasty and to a high standard. Drinks were also great. Service was also of a high standard. Our waitress was very accommodating providing recommendations and friendly service. I will certainly be returning.

Outstanding, quality of food was awesome, service was excellent with friendly staff and also great surroundings to dine in.. will be going again. Regards Steve and Lynn Peters from Lordswood..

Service was extremely slow and our group fore went the third course. Music started during the second course and we may as well have put our heads in a tumble dryer. Food was OK, but nothing to write home about although the Steak looked good.
