This place had so much hype about the amazing food. What a disappointment. A 5 course tasting menu for $125 with a ton of upsell options. I’m happy to pay for stellar food but this was all garbage. Everything tasted worse and worse. Too many flavors mixed together to cover badly seasoned proteins or just really awful tasting things. Seemed they were trying too hard to be fancy when they should have focused on simple good tastes. We ended up spending almost $500 for two people with no alcohol for awful food.

True fine dining. It was difficult to choose each coarse on the tasting menu as the options were all so intriguing. The unique blend of flavors made each bite memorable. Our server Alana could not have been more professional and really added to the enjoyment of our evening. The setting is beautiful as well.

Our experience was amazing from start to finish! When we arrived they were very welcoming and sat us 15 minutes early. Jonathan was are server and absolutely made our experience all the way down to having our menus printed with "happy anniversary" on the top! The view was stunning, even with it being gray outside(May in California). 100% recommended you experience this place for yourself!

Olivella was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Loved our waiter Dakota who described each dish with aplomb. We added the wine pairings which were exquisite. The beauty of the Ojai valley view and a memorable meal made for an elegant and outstanding experience.

I had a hard time finding much info on social media, etc about Olivella, so I was honestly a little hesitant! But you can never go wrong with the Ojai Valley Inn. the food, ambience and view was incredible! Their menu consists of a 4 course meal at $150/person or $250/person with wine pairing. It was truly a wonderful place and will definitely be back again! Thank you to our wonderful server who made our anniversary an experience!

Our experience surpassed our already high expectations. We knew that being in the ojal valley inn Olivella would be special but we were blown away by the quality of their food, the ambiance, but most of all the service. Dakota was our server. He was very knowledgeable about the food and suggested stellar wine pairings. He was engaging and charismatic and really went the extra mile to make out evening special. The food was incredible. Rib eye was our favorite closely followed by the chicken. Thank you olivella for an incredibly special evening.
