Great and original food. I do prefer the gazpacho of Ignacio Blanco over the one that they currently serve.

Wonderful dinner as usual. Service was efficient, friendly, and helpful without hovering. Great variety of flavors,and everything was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to come back again.

Was greeted very warmly and had a reservation for 530 to have dinner with my son, who was late as usual- sat at the bar and had a delicious cocktail and chatted with the very friendly bartender and a few other diners at the bar- when he eventually showed up we were seated and service was friendly and attentive- oysters were fantastic, star of the show was the cornish game hen, also were brought a complementary amuse bouche- some sort of potato dish that was terrific- less expensive than what I expected to spend and felt very welcome will definitely go back the next time I am in New Haven

We went to Olea right at 5:00 when they opened so the restaurant was quite empty, and very quiet. Over the course of our meal, the restaurant filled up, but noise was never an issue. There were 2 of us, and we both said this was one of the next meals we’ve had in a very long time! The service was phenomenal! The menu was diverse and the food was beautifully presented . We had one vegetarian plate, and one of the cod special - both were great ! The starting bread service was warm and delicious.

Food was delicious and service very attentive. This restaurant is a real gem near Yales campus. Can’t wait to return.

The duck confit was dry and obviously smelly reheated. The purses weee room temperature at best. The scallop dish had 4 medium to small scallops and the accompaniments on the dish were room temperature at best. The server was respectful and attentive, but not overtly friendly. I expected much more from this establishment. The ice creams are wonderful and the star of the evening.

Everything on the menu was amazing: appetizers to entrees to dessert. Also our waiter, I don't remember his name, was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend and dine again

Excellent service. Balanced flavors, perfect portion size. Patient and kind with me as I got turned around while walking from where I’d parked and was a little late for our reservation (new to the area).
