   We enjoyed the experience. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The anniversary special set included tableside service to make the caesar salad and nitro ice cream which was fun. Food was good, ambience was good, not too loud so we could enjoy our conversation. I'm glad we tried this place, and made me feel special for my birthday.

   This restaurant never disappoints however last night was an exception. The lamb was over cooked, we were often looking for someone to pour the wine, and refill our water glasses. Overall the service was not up to its usual standard. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, but they must have been short staffed as this is not typical of this wonderful restaurant. We should have said something to the restaurant but everyone was busy …. We will be back as this was very unusual.

   The staff is always professional. Prompt attentive service. The food is locally sourced and freshly prepared. Old Surrey restaurant is our favorite local high end restaurant

   We arrived on time and seated immediately in the “library “. Given ample time to review menu. This is a no pressure, no hurry setting. Staff and owner who prepares our meal table side were great! The flavours of our choices were fabulous. Portions are quite large. My wife was unable to finish hers. Due to the fact there are several different rooms in this old house you don’t see or come into contact with other customers. All in all we had a fabulous experience!!!

   Just excellent. Right across the board. From Micheal's building Caesar salad, blueberry tea and nitro ice cream table side to 4 great entries. The prices are high but not outrageous in this day and age but the atmosphere and experience was worth every dime!

   The service was extremely slow and lacking the normal energy. A couple that came In After us were half way through their meal before we got drinks. We have been going there for over 30 years. Half is for the experience. The table side service and the interaction with the waiters. And please 45.00 for 2 ceasar salads We are talking about lettuce garlic some oils and cheese. This may not be our go to for special events in the future.

   Great experience. We all love the Caesar salad . It’s to die for. The duck was amazing, the scallops were great. We will all be back very soon.

   We were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary here and wanted to love this place. Our waiter was one of the best we’ve ever experienced and the old fashioned cocktails he made were perfect. Unfortunately the food and presentation were underwhelming, especially for the price. My husband’s beef medallions were over done and the Demi-glace was a strange concoction with five-spice powder. My lamb chops were the highest priced I’ve ever seen on a menu in this area, yet the presentation was the worst I’ve ever seen, basically just thrown on the plate with some green beans and two deep fried potato puffs. To be fair, the chops were tender. Perhaps they schedule the second string chef/cook mid-week but we felt we were served a diner style presentation at fine dining prices.

    Everything was phenomenal! The staff was charming and made for an entertaining evening. Having the cesar salad and ice cream made at the table was so cool, and their nitro ice cream has ruined all other ice cream for me, lol. Everything smelled, looked, and tasted amazing. We went for my mom's birthday, and everyone had an amazing time. It's definitely one of the best restaurant experiences I have had and I am looking forward to the next occasion that I can use to book dinner here again! 10/10 would recommend
