We sat outside and our Server Kim was fab! The food was excellent. I will go back for special occasions.

Lovely old stone building. We sat in the front room with a Christmas tree - just charming. Food was quite good, as was the presentation on our plates. The wait staff was outstandingly friendly. One of our party couldn't find parking and took more than an hour to get to the restaurant. No one complained. They do charge extra if you use a credit card, so bring cash if you care about that. All in all a nice evening.

Somehow this place slipped by us over the years -we will definitely be returning now that know if it . Would have been nice if they had children’s options on the menu or even just half portions. The portion sizes were very large! My salmon was a bit over seasoned, but the pork chop and filet were delicious. A few more wines by the glass would have been nice, but we settled on a great bottle. Service attentive. Ambiance cozy. Not a very large place so it might be a challenge for larger groups.

Can I just say, don’t EVER come here on a holiday. If you do, know that they are totally unprepared for it. Thanksgiving Day we had a 5:30 res Got there on time, only to be told to sit on the sofa where we waited 40 minutes for our table. Sat at table without anyone coming over for another 15 minutes and waited another 15 for our drinks. Another 15 for food, and sat another 20 with dirty plates sitting in front of us. Needless to say, highly understaffed The couples on each side of us said they experienced the same terrible situation that we did. The upside was the food was good, That’s where it ends. Sad since it’s a cute place, but they need to get their act together and be prepared on a holiday or any other day. We enjoy leisurely dinners but over three hours is totally ridiculous for two people.

I had made reservations well in advance for Thanksgiving dinner. We arrived early with my elderly parents for a 5:15 outdoor reservation. When we arrived, I was told we would be seated shortly. After noticing every seat was taken outside and no one was close to finishing their dinners, I decided to ask when we'd be seated. I was told it would be no time soon. It appears that they accepted reservations that they couldn't honor. Unfortunately, it was Thanksgiving when many restaurants were closed, and a large number of people wanted to dine. Not many alternatives were available, so we went back to our hotel and had bar take out. I would never recommend this restaurant they shouldn't have accepted my reservation if they couldn't honor it in a reasonable amount of time.

We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful little restaurant with great food. They ultimately overbooked, and we waited 1 hour to be seated (with a reservation), then another 90min for the food to arrive. Staff was pleasant and did their best. Would give it another try as the food was excellent.

We made reservations for noon on Thanksgiving for the patio and arrived a bit early and enjoyed a drink at bar before being seated. We opted for the swordfish and filet instead of the traditional Thanksgiving meal. It was delicious and our service was wonderful. The ambience was perfect on the garden patio.

Food was decent. The service was slow. Place and ambiance was cute and the main reason we tried it. If someone wanted to go or we were invited back we'd go but I wouldn't go back next time I'm in St. Augustine with many other choices. The prices on the menu are actually 3.5% higher unless you pay in cash... which for the price and level of restaurant thought was a bit absurd to hide that fact until after you dine...

I had a wonderful meal with out of town guests. Wanted to take them somewhere special and this fit the bill. I’ve always wanted to try it and boy and I glad I did!

Never take the time to make a review, but will do for this one trying to keep it short: Even with a reservation, we waited to be seated 30 minutes. I specified that we were 4 people and an infant and needed space for the stroller; but we were seated in a table for 2 with to extra chairs and no space for the stroller. In our faces the server instead of bringing a clean tablecloth for the table, just flipped over the dirty tablecloth and said “that’s how we do it here”. Also, extremely rude and condescending when asked to repeat and clarify something and literally said “I just said that, you didn’t hear it the first time?” to a none native English speaker. After ordering, waited another hour for the food to come to the table. Worst experience ever in town. Never coming back.
