    Sushi was very fishy - did not taste fresh and was not pleasant to eat. Staff was very unknowledgeable about menu and not helpful with allergy needs.

    This place was great and the 6-course meal selection was well worth it. The portion sizes left something to be desire but I do recognize that traditional Japanese cuisine involves smaller portion sizes (and I was starved). The ambience in the room we sat could have been better, but I did love seeing the chefs right in front of me preparing the meals. In terms of cost versus quality (how I view restaurants generally), the cost met the quality of the total experience (food, service, ambience, clientele). For Boston, it's a go

    We had a fantastic evening. Celebrated a big birthday and everything was amazing. The food, the service, the ambiance - just wonderful. There were plenty of cocktails and drink options - including hard to find Japanese whiskeys. The food was beyond delicious, and the presentation sent it over the top. They remembered the birthday and presented a plate of ice cream wrapped mochii with a sparkling candle. The service was exceptional. You need to give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

    We didn’t know what to expect, it was out first time here and last night in Boston. And what a fantastic surprise it was! Incredible place! The food was phenomenal! We tried salmon on fire, escargot, wagyu steak and few sashimi’s. Everything tasted so good and fresh. They have a mini sports bar or formal, sexy dining room. Out server was great with service, manners and sake suggestion. We absolutely loved an experience here, definitely recommend!

    The crab in the soft shell crab tasted off. The wasabi is not effective and has no taste. The fish was pretty good.
