L'Ocean Prime est un restaurant-lounge américain moderne créé par le restaurateur de renom Cameron Mitchell. Élu le meilleur restaurant de fruits de mer par les magazines Arizona Foothills, AZ Business et North Valley, l'Ocean Prime Phoenix vous propose une expérience extraordinaire. This is a fine dining restaurant and the food was terrific. However, there was a party of 5 or 6 that were extremely loud. These were adults all over the age of 40. A couple near them requested and was reseated due to their noise. We told the waiter that the noise was unbearable and inappropriate in a fine dining setting. This was sports bar level uncontrolled volume. The waiter said it was difficult to address the issue with the offending party as they wouldn't want to upset them. We explained that the rest of the patrons were all having their experience ruined by these people and why should you be concerned about upsetting the offenders when all the rest of the patrons were already upset by their behavior and you have already had to reseat one couple? He said he would discuss it with the manager, who apparently did nothing about it. On our way out we calmly and nicely spoke with those people and said their level of noise was not appropriate for the setting and if they wanted to be that loud they should be seated in a bar area or go to a sports bar. They appologized to us, but this should not have been left to us to communicate.

Wonderful dinner for our daughter’s 16th birthday! They decorated the table and all!

Dixie was wonderful, food was good, ambience/crowd at that location is not quite the level we were looking for.

Had a rushed dinner to make local concert. Staff was accommodating and stellar in the attentiveness and service. We both had scallops , perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!

Made the res (standard seating) a month out with a note that one of our party was ADA (wheelchair). Got to the restaurant, and they had us on a high top. They offered a booth.. that wouldn’t work. Then put us in the bar at a table where the chair had to be pulled up a stair. Lucky he was use to dealing with this kind of BS. Manager did come by to the table and was adamant that they took care of us. I did not want to argue. Ordered the $110 12 oz steak med rare plus. Was bloody. I ate the ends and then asked to have them re fire. Waitress explained this cut was a new addition and that I was by no means the first one to complain. And I did get a $50 “Chef credit”. Wife had the lobster pasta dish. Lobster was the texture of jello….undercooked. For a $1200 bill, with drinks, this was a horrible experience. Service was friendly but slow at the table and bar. The manager seemed aggressive and defensive. The wheel chair thing really set the tone and then for the food to be marginal at best. Will go elsewhere for sure. I rarely complain and in fact travel and entertain clients in this type of atmosphere many times a year. With one exception, this was the worst experiences I have had. Sorry for the blunt comments. But when you spend this level of money, the expectation is a much higher bar.

Mark, I do apologize for the negative experience you had the other evening. You could not be more correct in saying that we fell short of what we should have done for your experience. Unfortunately from the information we received from our Guest Services department I was under the impression that your party had wanted to remain in the lounge and being seated on the stage area was not a issue. I should have spoken to you directly about this and for that I do apologize. I did make it a point to let you know as you said that my priority moving forward was that you had the experience you were looking for. Obviously I was mistake. Ocean Prime is a class act from the moment you walk through the door until you are walking out. The staff does everything they can to make the dining experience perfect. The seafood is expertly prepared. The wine list offers a variety of choices, and the peanut butter pie should not be missed.

Amazing salmon and house salad. I think I’ll be thinking about it for the next month! Very clean and welcoming establishment. Will definitely be returning in the near future.
