    Excellent food. Excellent service. We eat out a great deal and this was one of the best meals I’ve eaten. Gotta try the Berries and Bubbles cocktail. An entire experience.

    I went there to celebrate the end of my birthday week and everything was perfect. From the service to the food, I was pleasantly impressed by it all. I would definitely come back to dine at ocean prime again!

    Flavorless fish dish and our server got one of our orders wrong (we didn't care, but worth noting). We were happy to pay the exorbitant price, but not for such a mediocre meal. We will not go back.

    Truly one of the best dining experiences in the City. Cocktail menu is imaginative and healthy pours abound. Sushi is a must (anything--its all great), and the fish dishes are wonderful. Service was terrific and the staff treated very well as we celebrated our 30th anniversary with them.

    Ocean Prime is a spectacular restaurant! No place better for special occasions. We feel like we are dining in a palace. The food, as usual, was magnificent, especially the Chilean sea bass, blackened snapper and divine chocolate raspberry gelato, the best I have ever had. And James is the greatest server. All four of us were so thrilled about our experience. Why, then, 4 stars instead of 5? I do not know if the restaurant can even do anything about it, but as we were waiting about 15 minutes afterwards in front of the restaurant for our friends to get their car a few blocks away, there was a sickening incident involving a homeless, obviously mentally ill woman who was screaming non-stop hideous obscenities at a homeless man who never said a word to her. She started pushing and threatening him, and a group of young men stood nearby laughing, as if it were a joke, and taking videos with their phones. Two men who appeared to work for Ocean Prime stood there and did nothing. I have been told that if police are called in a situation like that, they may take the aggressive terrorizer to a facility where that person can get help. Anything would have been better than nothing. I was tempted to intervene, but that probably would not have helped. I am an 84-year-old white man whose involvement would have probably been unwelcome. I believe this is one reason why so many suburbanites do not want to come into center city, even to a great restaurant like Ocean Prime. (We are life-long Philadelphians.)
