The food is always good and I like the variety of the menu. Unfortunately, the service is usually subpar. The server disappears after taking the order and setting down drinks. The table next to us had a hard time getting his attention also. If the service improves, this restaurant would be an A+.

When our party of 7 first arrived there was a little bit of a wait as there were people in line in front of us and only one girl answering phones, checking people in and then showing people to their tables. She seemed a bit stressed out and was not very personable. Our table was fine, the air conditioning was on and when we asked if it could be lowered, because my 80 yr old mother in law was very cold she said she’d ask but then never addressed it again and she seemed to not care. My in laws sat through the entire meal with their jackets on. The food was delicious but our server left a lot to be desired, not very welcoming and friendly, just blah. I could go on with that but enough said for now!

Our server was not very friendly and when asked his opinion, he would say, ok I'll come back when you decide. Everything else was great!

I ordered a salad, it was on the sparse side, didn’t have too much actual lettuce. It was tasty but I wouldn’t order that again. The bread and dip was of course delicious.

Unfortunately, NYAJ’’s was pretty empty when my wife and I went. I felt badly for them. The food, however, was really good and we had an outstanding server. We’ve always had good experiences at this restaurant.
