Classé 4 étoiles par le New York Times - Avril 2012, le North Star Restaurant propose une cuisine américaine contemporaine créative dans un cadre décontracté, conçu pour que vous vous sentiez comme à la maison. Confort et ambiance assurés! Exploité par le propriétaire, le North Star dispose d'un personnel particulièrement chaleureux et amical. Un chef européen très expérimenté et de formation classique combine les ingrédients biologiques locaux les plus frais provenant des meilleures fermes biologiques de la région de New York. Son bar du Chili, son flétan sauté et son homard poché au beurre sont hautement appréciés, tout comme ses succulentes soupes sans crème et ses raviolis faits maison. Le North Star est également reconnu pour son bar animé où il est facile de créer de nouveaux liens dès la première visite, et pour accueillir les groupes de musique les plus talentueux de la région les jeudis soirs une fois le service de repas terminé. En été, il est possible de d'installer sur la terrasse extérieure calme et paisible. Les enfants sont les bienvenus si vous vous présentez en début de soirée. Les bouteilles de moins de 75 $ sont à demi-prix le mardi soir. Le North Star est un véritable petit bijou qui entretient une relation durable avec ses clients.

North Star has access to incredible talent from the New York/Westchester/CT area and beyond. Every week there is something memorable happening musically there. Thursday rocks the house, with great bands starting at 9pm. If you like to dance to rock 'n' roll, this is the place to be. Sunday features the incredible voice of Dennis Collins, someone who is asked regularly to sing with the biggest stars in music. He is truly magical, and sings every Sunday night at 6:30pm.

I have been dining at North Star for nearly twenty years and I have never had a bad experience in all that time. The attention, the food the music, it’s all been exceptional.

The restaurant overall is ok however it is very expensive as it relates to portion size and the menu is very small

As always, excellent dinner at Northstar! Filet Mignon cooked perfectly with peppercorn sauce; Chilean Sea Bass superb. Always attentive service. Dining at 6:45 was a plus as the place started to fill after 7 and was getting somewhat noisy by the time we left.

We loved our meal of chicken pot pie, Chilean sea bass, & ny strip & spinach. Loved the pear salad too. We thoroughly enjoyed NorthStar and hope to be back in 2025.
