Overall it was good. They changed the calamari and it wasn’t as good and definitely over cooked. Also they changed the scallop dish - my favorite usually- and added the French fried onions you use on top of green bean casserole and it just cheapened the whole dish.

I always have an excellent meal when I go to North Italia ! Not only is the food always delicious but the service is excellent and the workers are so friendly that it is a pleasure to eat there

One of the best meals we had on our trip! We have some particular eaters in our team…and all left thrilled with their choices. Great spot to people watch.

We took my wife's parents to North Italia for a nice holiday lunch. The food was very good, which is usual for North. We had the Calamari Fritti and the Zucca Chips to start. I had the Chopped Chicken Salad as my entree. I love this salad...and from what I understand it is a long time favorite at North. My only modification is a little extra dressing and romaine lettuce instead of the field greens, which was accommodated without any issue. My wife and her parents shared a Margherita pizza and a Hot Italian Stromboli. Both were delicious. My only minor issue was with the service we received. Perhaps they were a little understaffed, but the food came out slowly. We waited a long time for our appetizers and then there was a pretty long gap before the mains came out. Not horrible, but longer than average. I could probably write it off to the fact that it was a holiday weekend and things might have been extra busy for them. The restaurant did not seem overly crowded, but I think the kitchen might have been a little overloaded too...our server also did not seem like she was super on top of things as we had to flag her down for a drink and appetizer order. North Italia is a favorite of ours and will continue to be...perhaps your mileage may vary on the service you receive, depending on when you visit.

The restaurant was busy and loud on this Friday night. Luckily we reserved an outside table. Service was quick and professional. Our soup was excellent. My wife had the scallops and I had pasta. The scallops were well prepared, but several were slightly fishy in terms of flavor - not the freshest. My pasta was beautifully plated, but reminiscent of upscale Olive Garden - corporate food with cooks following a recipe as opposed to chef prepared. We had high expectations based on a friend’s recommendation but came away underwhelmed.
