What a great time we had at Nico. Our waiter was absolutely superb as was the food and drink. Absolutely will be going back, loved it.

Our server and service was fantastic. Our food was amazing…with the exception of the Chilean sea bass, which was pretty fishy. However the lobster raviolis and sauce that were in the dish made it wonderful. I left half the fish…would order the vodka rigatoni next time. Wow! And two orders of the octopus. THAT stole the show. Will definitely go back!

Wintry Friday night. Had an 8:45 res and we were seated promptly. Music much too loud. Raucous groups of 20-something drinkers screaming over the music (bar is in the same tight space as the tables). Ambience, at that hour anyway, was noisy bar not fine dining. Never got the salad we ordered but otherwise service was OK. Chef is top tier: fish cooked perfectly, meatballs enormous and really tasty, pasta silky. Wine list interesting and pricey. Vibe so unpleasant we didn't linger to try dessert. FYI: restrooms are downstairs so not handicap accessible.

Quite possibly one of the most delicious North End meals I’ve had & I’ve made my rounds. Everyone was extremely kind, you could tell the staff is trained in customer service, stepping to the side when they see you coming, greeting with kind gestures & we were checked on my multiple staff members throughout the night. Overall an amazing meal. I’d say ambiance is like an elevated cozy, great for date night.
