Situé à quelques minutes du centre-ville, le Nick & Sam's Steakhouse est un établissement contemporain proposant une sélection de viandes de choix, dont du bœuf wagyu américain et australien, ainsi qu'une grande variété de fruits de mer. Sa carte des vins essentiellement composée de crus américains compte plus de 400 références, agrémentée d'une sélection internationale, avec 20 vins au verre. Le restaurant a été récompensé d'un « well-done » par l'USA Today, d'un « very good to excellent » par le ZAGAT et d'un Five Diamond Star Award en 2008.

I have been here many times and have always had a great experience. But…. We had reserved a table for 4 in the dining room. They attempted to seat us in the bar. I said no, we reserved the dining room. Hostess was nasty. “You will be next available”. Probably 20 people were seated during the 40 additional minutes we waited. They did not care at all and were rude. We ended up giving up and being served in the waiting area. This visit was horrible. A hostess should not ruin a thousand dollar dinner. Maybe getting too big to care

Very overpriced and very overrated in my opinion. Food was OK but not exceptional and certainly not up to the reputation I had heard of. Incredibly noisy. Very difficult for even the servers to hear when you're trying to place an order. Super dark. So much so that the servers have to carry flashlights to show you your food. It's a cool vibe and it's decorated very nicely but it's hard to enjoy it because your tables are so cramp packed together that the servers bump you every time they try to get to other tables around you and you have to yell to be heard. it's like how many people can we fit into this space at one time? And this was on a Wednesday night. The parking and valet are atrocious. Waited 10 minutes just to have my car parked and 20 minutes for my car to be brought around by the valet because of all of the people trying to leave. It was like a traffic jam on I35 just trying to get in line to get to the valet to give him my ticket and this was on a Wednesday night. Will not go back.

Superb dining experience. Service was exceptional. Loved the tuna and spatchcock chicken. The piano player took the ambiance to the next level. Will definitely return soon for another date night.

Great food . Steak and Hightide seafood platter was excellent. EJ was the best waiter we have had at NS in years

10/10 I do recommend went for my wife’s bday and it was amazing …. A little loud but overall great experience will definitely return

We arrived early for our reservation and we weren’t seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. We were then seated in the loudest and busiest part of the restaurant, for our anniversary dinner. Our drinks and appetizers were great, and we were given champagne for our anniversary. My girlfriend’s steak was fantastic, but undercooked. My steak was way overcooked the first time around, I ordered it medium rare and it came out almost well done. They took it back and cooked it again, and this time it came out almost rare. Not wanting to wait again I just took it and cut into one of the chewiest steaks I have ever had. Our waitress was nice initially but did not apologize for the steak or the long wait time. They did end up comping my steak and giving us free dessert (which we did not order and did not love), but we left feeling extremely disappointed. We will not be coming back.
