Situé à Plantsville, l'ancien restaurant Old Mill est désormais devenu le New Mill, réputé pour les talents culinaires de son nouveau chef Bob Martucci. Cet ancien moulin à cidre datant de 1737 a été l'un des établissements les plus prisés du Connecticut pendant de nombreuses années, avant d'être entièrement rénové par ses propriétaires, Chris et Michelle Calvanese. Il propose des spécialités comme des fruits de mer frais, un bar de crudités, des steaks de bœuf Angus « chop house » ainsi que des pâtes et des desserts maison. Une vaste carte des vins et un grand bar propice aux conversations complètent l'offre de ce restaurant.

Meals were all very good and they accommodated the dietary restrictions two of us have. Maple glazed pork chop was tender and juicy, loved the glaze. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked. The Halibut special was appreciated as it is a favorite for one of the people in my party.

From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was perfect, our waitress was professional and attentive, and the food was simply exceptional. A must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

It was our first time at The New Mill Restaurant. The food was good. The potions of the entree were huge. The dessert was delicious. The Maple Walnut Bread Pudding was very sweet and Buck's Gelato on top was very creamy. The dessert was the best part of the meal!! I recommend it. The server, Russel, was excellent. He was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. We will be returning to this restaurant.

I’ve never had a bad experience or meal at New Mill. The staff is kind, patient, and very accommodating. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is very cozy. Perfect for a night out with friends, family or a date night!

Our server, Russell was outstanding! Very attentive and personable. Made our dining experience so enjoyable. Food was excellent! High quality and delicious. Thank you for a great meal!

The food was delicious. Our waitress was Gabby and she was knowledgeable and attentive. I really appreciate the fact that the chefs are willing to make all of their dishes to cater to people who are vegetarians, pescatarians, vegan, or gluten intolerant. I can’t wait to return.
